... release that which no longer serves you!

Kristi's Blog

Much of what seems so real in this physical dimension is not the entire Truth of who we are and/or what we can do. Over the last decade, I have allowed myself to both explore and expand beyond the physical, mental and emotional boundaries I thought were rigidly in place in this "reality". What I found was an aspect of Self that I had forgotten was there. I offer these wonderings and wanderings as an invitation to see beyond "what meets the eye" in your own life!

Read, ponder, explore the depths of yourself. Although our eyes focus outward, we are primarily here to see and change ourselves. If the words assist, there is a link for gratitude giving. If you want to go deeper in your healing and release more quickly, let's work together. These writings are not short ... but the world is full of insightful one-liners which haven't managed to fully communicate to and shift heart and soul. I remain ever hopeful ... Much love, Kristi

Two Sides to Every Coin

There are two sides to every coin, but they are both equally important and they are never in competition with one another. Together they are balance and harmony. It is only our perception and reception of the coin that determines whether we prefer HEADS or TAILS. Neither is positive; neither is negative.

How often do we assume something that is happening is "good" or "bad"? It's normal, right? It's how we've been raised. We've been taught since we were children that we are BEing a "good boy" or a "good girl" or we are BEing a "bad boy" or "bad girl". This is the kind of thinking that leads to what is commonly referred to  as "duality" in modern-day teachings.

But just as a coin must have two sides, in perfect balance, and with equal importance to the whole, our physical BEingness as well as this Earthly reality has to have two sides. Love/hate. Light/darkness. Push/pull. Angelic/evil. Black/white. Hot/cold.

I have been shown very clearly that there is even "good" in the "bad". If we always avoid what we perceive as "bad", we may be missing a doorway to even greater "good" in our lives. Let's look at an example to clarify this:

A friend does something that you deem as unforgivable and the relationship ends. Each time you think of that person, the emotions well up inside of you, yet you push them down. You just cannot find the space in which to move past the hurt, anger and/or rejection. In the 7/08/14 segment of my radio show1, Perspective Reboot® with Kristi Borst, I spoke about forgiveness of others and shared some ways to move to this space and perspective. I think most people know that it's not healthy to hold a grudge, anger, hatred toward another in our physical bodies. This is usually the reason that people are encouraged to forgive one another. Yet, I believe the healing goes much deeper than this.
What if this experience with our friend was there to offer us a way to grow past the place in which we can be hurt, angered and/or rejected? What if we, too, have committed the same offense to another being (in different time/space reality) and have not yet forgiven OURSELVES? What if that's part of the reason that we are so triggered by their behavior? What if in forgiving others, we are also forgiving ourselves? What if in lovingly and consciously facing that part of us that is wounded, we miraculously grow a new skin that can no longer be penetrated in this way?
I am seeing that the "bad", "dark", "uncomfortable" things in our lives are actually great gifts if we do not turn our backs on them ... they are a skeleton key of sorts that unlocks all sorts of unseen doors within us and beyond us, opening us up to even more joy. If we are always avoiding, denying, ignoring the darkness, we are cheating ourselves of soul-level growth and expansion.

And, frankly, I believe soul growth and expansion are key reasons we are here in this physical form. We are eternal, Divine beings having a human experience. The soul is resilient; the human form not so much. Yet, this physical reality offers us a psyche, emotions, and physical body which can be bruised, battered, and damaged. Know that when we dive through the darkness, we emerge to the other side ... light! We are so much stronger than we've been led to believe.

Seize your power in this NOW moment and find another way to experience this "reality" that takes it from "bad" to "good". These experiences are doorways, not rooms ... we are not meant to stay there ... to get stuck. I know it's difficult to face your fears, move beyond rejection, release the wrongs done to you by "others", but what if these experiences/obstacles/challenges are just the back side to your once-in-a-lifetime gold coin? We are here to help support one another on this journey. If you'd like further support, consider teaming up with me in a one-to-one, dare I say, life-changing Perspective Reboot® Intuitive Energy Healing session.

Love and light,
Kristi
